Dear Friends,
I wanted to take a moment out of all of our busy daily lives to wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving!
There is a lot going on in the world of local, state and national politics and government. Today’s political climate is more polarizing than ever as friends and family often find themselves with differing viewpoints and priorities.
However, it is important to take time out, remember the many blessings we have been bestowed by Almighty God – and also the trials – and be thankful for them. Without both blessing and trial our nation would not be what it is today…and neither would we. By reflecting on the liberties and freedoms we enjoy in this country every day and the cost to maintain them, we re-energize ourselves for the continuing fight to defend and advance them!
I pray for humility, wisdom, peace, blessing, and thankfulness for you during this Holiday week. I pray that relationships with friends and family will be strengthened and restored through Divine fellowship. I pray that your faith will be bolstered, your health will be protected, and your inner peace – regardless of what situations you are facing in your own life – will expand beyond your own understanding!
Also, please remember our armed forces deployed overseas. I know from experience, especially during this time of year, it can be extremely difficult being away from loved ones and friends. They are on the frontlines in our fight for freedom and liberty and deserve our continued thoughts and prayers.
